Mara Laso was born in Cartegena, Murcia, Spain, and has made her birth country proud by the work she’s done in the business we call show. Her career started with Red Cross Girls (1958), a comedy from her native country, but she didn’t really step out from behind bit parts until she landed in a movie that allow her to show off her bit parts. That film is The Awful Dr. Orlof (1962), directed by the filth-king of cinema Jesus Franco. The Orlof of the title is a former prison doctor who abducts beautiful women to harvest their skin to repair his fire-scarred daughter’s face. Mara offers up her tit skin, and we get a look at them while the doctor’s at work. Mara continued to work for decades, last seen on screen in another thriller, The Night of the Executioner (1992)
